About
We thought the last Viaduct with David Harness was so good, we had to take advantage of these beautiful LA summer nights and go for another round. For this satellite install we are bringing one of Jack’s musical heroes, and friend, the legend himself — Tedd Patterson. “Tedd Patterson is one of my personal heroes. His artistry and passion for music laid the foundation for how I present music to this day.” — Honey Dijon Tedd is a real New York institution; he’s from the dance floor. He was a force during the 90's heyday of Sound Factory and Sound Factory Bar, Limelight & Tunnel. He also established a 13-year residency at the award-winning club Cielo, with his party called VIBAL. As well as playing at some of the most iconic clubs around the world: Ministry Of Sound in London, Panorama Bar in Berlin, Pacha Ibiza, Stereo in Montreal, and The Angels Of Love in Italy. You can hear that heritage in his productions and when he plays. "Tedd’s a real torch-bearer for all that is fabulous and legendary about NYC.” — Terry Farley As a record producer, and remixer, Tedd’s productions appear on influential labels including Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, and Rekids. His collaborations with Pete Heller, Eric Kupper, and Chus & Ceballos have now become House Classics. Recently he’s produced works for The Illustrious Blacks, Inaya Day, and Joi Cardwell. He’s also remixed projects for Louie Vega, Honey Dijon, and Meshell Ndegeocello, and so many more. Tedd is a resident DJ at Battle Hymn in NYC, and is a featured player at Horse Meat Disco and Glitterbox. “My sets are about fusion. I’m not an old-school soul, classics, or gospel house DJ. I’m adventurous, and my musical repertoire is very diverse. I like the soul that exists in a variety of musical forms. What appeals to me most is fusion and contrast—that’s most obvious in how I program my sets and produce my music. I’m not afraid to take a chance, and that has become my signature, and that works for me.” — Tedd Patterson. We are so lucky to have him for this install, and a real pinch- me moment for Jack to be sharing the AXIS decks with such an icon in the scene. This will surely be a night we will be talking about years to come fam.
