Dreaming Awake and Sound of Symmetry join forces for a special Los Angeles showcase on Saturday, June 20th, bringing together artists from both labels, including founders Treavor Moontribe and Sarkis Mikael, the new Desert Dwellers touring duo. While neither currently resides in Los Angeles, the city was home to both of them for many years, making this gathering a full-circle reunion and an opportunity to bring their communities together once again. The night’s soundtrack will feature Brooklyn-based producer Nhii, Dreaming Awake founder Treavor Moontribe, Sound of Symmetry founder Sarkis Mikael, special guest Bawab with his sophisticated deep sound, and Sound of Symmetry’s visual artist David Rue, who is also behind “Gazethe Manipulation” from the label’s latest compilation. Hosted at The Community Berlin in Los Angeles, the evening will unfold on a massive state of the art Danley sound system, surrounded by moody lighting, immersive visuals, vibey chill areas, and an indoor-outdoor setting designed to breathe.
