On Saturday, April 4, Endzeit returns to San Francisco for a classic single-night gathering in a new secret location. Leading the night is Anthony Linell, the architect of Stockholm’s Northern Electronics and one of the most distinctive voices to emerge from Scandinavia’s techno underground. Over more than a decade of releases, Linell has refined a stripped-down approach to rhythm and synthesis that pushes techno into colder and more abstract territory. Through Northern Electronics, he has shaped a body of work that extends toward experimental electronics and leftfield sound. Vardae makes his US debut following standout releases on Non Series and Samurai Music. Rooted in psychedelic exploration, his productions combine acid lines, layered percussion and atmospheric textures into a sound that moves fluidly between techno, dub and drum & bass. Sarah Wreath arrives for her San Francisco debut following the release of her debut LP Integration on The Bunker New York and her recent collaboration with Sandwell District. Her work moves between ambient atmospheres, tribal rhythms and psychedelic techno, with close attention to texture, pacing and space. JS Aurelius brings a more fractured edge to the night. Alongside a release on Northern Electronics, his work extends through Berlin Atonal and a wider body of experimental solo material, leaning toward industrial electronics rather than straightforward techno. DJ Healthy, founder of New York x Tokyo party series PACIFIC MODE, brings a wide-ranging selection rooted in dubbed-out techno. His sets are hazy and groovy, with a light touch.
