Tucked away from the noise of the city, the space blends cavernous acoustics with warm, organic design—atmospheric lighting, natural textures, and enveloping sound—creating a sanctuary where music and environment move as one. Rooted in the deep, hypnotic pulse of dub techno, 𝔾ℝ𝕆𝕋𝕋𝕆 is less a venue than a refuge: an intimate, carefully curated haven for connection, reflection, and late-night resonance. Lydo is a Filipino-born Vietnamese-American sound artist. As a resident DJ of BASEMENT NY, their distinctive sets explode the parameters of techno, deftly cutting across genres while retaining a highly personal emotional resonance. Whenever Lydo plays, it’s best to leave your expectations at the door and simply prepare for an unexpected array of sonic thrills, ranging from visceral and grooving to mind-bendingly experimental. A non-binary trans artist themselves, Lydo launched X-TRA.SERVICES to serve and create space for queer, trans, and nonbinary people of color. Co-founder of Slut Island Festival and head of Lip Mixes, Frankie Teardrop crafts emotional, euphoric DJ sets through techno, tech house, trance, and dub techno.
