You ready to crawl underground and get trashy with us? Cause it's Pride and we can't wait to celebrate queerness with every single one of you. Joining alongside MÜLL residents Fawks and Kudeki, we will be drenched by the sounds of Olivia Mendez and Julia Govor. Olivia is a record proxénète, dealing grooves across territories her unique sound can reach. Strongly influenced by the sounds of Senegalese drums as a child, both as a percussionist and dancer, she eventually fell in love with the post modern aesthetics embedded in Detroit’s industrial landscapes. From Brooklyn to Kiev, she has been queering consciousness through her roaring, pulsing, sonorous soundscapes. As the founder of the FLINTA collective KONVENT, she creates space to reinvestigate and elevate the discourse on contemporary feminism, through site-specific music and art interventions, smashing the patriarchy one beat at the time. Known as a techno producer who has her own unique and innovative sounds, Julia has been featured on Bandcamp Daily as one of the best electronic music producers. She is the founder and curator of the music record label JUJUKA, partner at Bar Laika by e-flux and a resident of Public Records. She is quoted to have established a style that feels half Rome school, half Japanese hypnotic techno, but fully Julia Govor. And as always, we've got you covered well past sunrise.
