Midnight Swim and Loafers Cocktail Bar are celebrating Brooklyn Pride this year by bringing two outstanding local artists - Mthr Trsa and Zeigler - to the neighborhood for an all night extended party. Suit up for fab DJs, craft cocktails, and a special performance or two. SET TIMES 5:00 Hyogo 7:00 Zeigler 10:00 Mthr Trsa TRSA also known as MTHR TRSA ( @mthrtrsa ) is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in visual and performance art. She is the founder and director of HOLE PICS ( @holepics.live ), a queer performance series which will be showing its next iteration June 17 & 18 at Domino Park for Sugar Sugar. She just showcased her own play called High and Scared at Ars nova, and she brings her usb everywhere she goes because “you just never know.” ZEIGLER ( @_zei_gler_ ) is a DJ based in New York. Originally from North Carolina, he got his start in radio where he refined a deeply versatile and genre-spanning palate. Zeigler’s interest in the queer musical canon has led him to play with an encyclopedic flexibility from house music, to trip-hop, to jazz, electro, and everything in between. Zeigler is also one half of FEMALE ( @female_nyc ), a dj collaboration with maenad. The two host recurring nights at various queer bars, spin at DIY events and club nights, and organize a recurring party at Bossa Nova Civic Club titled Hysteria. HYOGO ( @djhyogo ) is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn. He is the creator of Midnight Swim, a weekly party series hosted at Loafers Cocktail Bar in Carroll Gardens featuring up-and-coming and established DJs. Originally from Oregon, Hyogo's background as a classically trained singer and self-taught music producer led him to DJing and party production where he gets to share his love for music and dance.
