This performance will create an immersive soundscape where people can choose to be still or move to. Through field recordings, improvised vocals and Turkish lyrics, manipulated sounds, ambient textures, acid synths, and percussive elements. --- N/A(Z) is a Turkish multidisciplinary artist working with sound, new media, and performance. I build multimedia installations and audiovisual performances that treat the mind as a software to be decoded and reality as a simulation to be probed. My journey began with leaving Turkey and quitting opera — and since then I've spent my time rewiring: unlearning through feminist philosophy, learning to manipulate sound, to project onto objects, to perform live. I create immersive simulations and performances — guided by Haraway, Irigaray, Barad, and Wittgenstein — that invite tentacular thinking and revolt. N/A(Z) creates unique Ableton Live experimental techno/hard techno/industrial/ambient sets with experimental sounds through blending her own sound designs & field recordings, with improvised Turkish lyrics, weird synths, industrial elements, & hard kicks.
