DJ SET: SHUGSLINE Grab a bite, sip on happy hour cocktails, and enjoy live covers of Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Frank Ocean, Durand Bernarr, Syd, Meshell Ndegeocello, Sylvester, and more. - Happy hour from 6:30-7:30pm - First band set: 7:00pm - Second band set: 8:00pm Black Folks Don’t Swim? is an artist collective and Black music machine, led by a core ensemble of Gender-Variant folks. Rooted in Alternative Jazz, BFDS? pays homage to Quiet Storm, Go-Go, Bounce, Funk, Soul, and R&B. BFDS? is not a statement but an intentional prompt, pronounced with the upswing inflection of a question.
