Nice people and good dance music, every first Thursday at Mothership. We feature extended sets from talented local DJs who you normally only see humbly supporting headliners or in stacked weeknight lineups—letting them share their unique sound on the dance floor. This month, we're featuring the legendary Black Panda! Writer by day, DJ by night, Black Panda is an Oakland-based DJ and producer with a deep appreciation for all things house, especially afro, deep, melodic, progressive, and classic.
