He first emerged as frontman and co-writer for San Francisco synth-pop act FM-84, helping define modern synthwave through favourites like “Running In The Night” and “Never Stop,” before launching a more personal solo career. His debut album Thanks In Advance and sophomore release The Pressure Point both topped charts and entered Billboard rankings.
