Between his original productions and live DJ sets, WILHELMINA bends and blends a multitude of genres - weaving from the darker, yet energetic ends of east coast and global club music to traces of techno, hard drum, r&b, and his Filipino heritage. His discography consists of originals and remixes that have been played at parties, online radios, and events on a world-scale. He has played various stages such as: New York, São Paulo, Atlanta, New Brunswick, Taipei, and has been featured on The Lot Radio. - 8ULENTINA is a New York based electronic composer, interdisciplinary artist, and DJ. Known for his dynamic performances and compositions, 8ULENTINA’s projects are characterized by his use of sound design, percussive intensity, storytelling and theatricality. Drawing from his SWANA background, he engages with regional folk traditions and performance techniques such as improvisation and collaboration through the reimagining of ensemble performances. 8ULENTINA’s recent album SURPASSING DISASTER was the first release on his project SILLAGE, a collaborative event series and record label focused on experimentation, improvisation and alternative archival sonic practices.
