On May 16, Simon Doty brings his groove-forward sound back to NYC for an open-air session at H0L0 Yard for his REUP Tour. Fresh off a 60+ date world tour supporting his debut LP Universal Language (Anjunadeep), Doty has been splitting his time between global amphitheaters and intimate club floors. With the launch of his label Recess, he’s doubled down on rhythm-driven, percussive club music — a direction that’s earned support from Sasha, Hot Since 82, Carl Cox, and regular spins from Pete Tong and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1. Also on the bill: Peruvian-born DJ/producer Gio Lucca. Known for his tech house and minimal-leaning productions on Nervous Records and Deeperfect, Lucca has scored multiple Beatport Top 10 releases and backing from Michael Bibi, Jamie Jones, and Marco Carola.
