Lovie’s and Honey Bun’s Soul Connection returns to 233, with the two distributing soulful, sensual house in The Sound Room all night. The ethos is simple: a body, mind, and soul connection with Black femme artists at the forefront. BLKshine and SHAUNIE both share the deep musical lineage of their city with the vibrant club cultures of Chicago and New York City, where they’re now based. Smooth, intentional, and groove-forward sets — designed to pull you out of your head and back into your body — are right on the nose. Nyerah carries the vibe UPSTAIRS. - Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
