SSEDA & Friends returns with a special AAPI Month edition at Arcana, a vibey loft style bar with beautiful plants. This is a curated night bringing together AAPI DJs across multiple genres and musical worlds. Rather than staying within one sound, the night will move through organic house, afro house, melodic techno, R&B, hip hop, and tech house in a progression designed intentionally for the space and flow of the evening. This edition is less about a traditional club format and more about creating movement between moods, textures, and energies throughout the night with friends and community. A portion of proceeds/bar participation will be donated to an AAPI nonprofit in support of AAPI awareness month. Come early, stay late, and let the night unfold naturally. Since the early 2000s, he has played across notable SF venues including Public Works, The Great Northern, Audio, and The Midway, while sharing lineups with artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Jody Wisternoff, and Chris Luno. Channeling his past as a military parachutist and professional skydiver/BASE jumper into his adventurous sound, HAPKI has been making his mark in the music world sharing the stage for top artists like The Chainsmokers, Black Coffee, and Monolink, performing at renowned festivals like City of Gods (Brooklyn), and spinning sets abroad in Albania, The Netherlands, Spain, and Italy.
