On Saturday June 27, SWXCH welcomes the West Coast debuts of LEA OCCHI and SOFTCHAOS for a night dedicated to freedom, connection, self-expression, and unapologetic joy. Hailing from France, LEA OCCHI is the co-founder and resident of the influential Parisian queer collective Spectrum Waves. Her sound has carried her through some of the world's most respected clubs and festivals including Berghain, Tresor, Club Raum, De School, Bassiani, Basement NYC, Fold, Le Sucre, ∄ Kyiv, Awakenings, Dekmantel, Fusion, and Whole Festival. Along the way, she has shared dance floors with communities and collectives that continue to shape queer nightlife including HE.SHE.THEY., Pornceptual, Eerste Communie, Power Dance Club, Meat Free, and now SWXCH. Joining her is SOFTCHAOS, the alias of Ecuadorian-American DJ, multidisciplinary artist, and dancefloor evangelist Tere Stout. Their fearless approach to music has led to unforgettable appearances at Primavera Sound, Sónar Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, and CTM, as well as club nights at RSO, Tresor, Fabric London, Nitsa, and Razzmatazz. Their sets are playful, emotional, unpredictable, and deeply rooted in the belief that the dance floor can be a place of transformation. Opening the journey is a special gAELXii b2b VAP1D, bringing together two rising voices from the local underground. At its core, SWXCH is about creating spaces where people can feel seen, celebrated, and free. Our dance floors and play rooms are rooted in safety, consent, collective care, and the belief that every person deserves to experience nightlife without judgment, expectation, or limitation.
